Adventureland! Children Ministry:
What is Adventureland? A place that is Value driven, User friendly, Creatively wired, Kid focused, and volunteer fueled. We have a jungle atmosphere, and we approach each Sunday as if we live in the land of adventure. It is never boring, always loud, fun, full of excitement and guided by some of the best leaders in the world! What will my child do in Adventureland? Children will go to their age- appropriate rooms and are greeted by their home group teacher(s). Older Children are moved into different large group environments broken down by age level (K3-K5 and 1st –5th grade). Here, they participate in a meaningful time of worship with song, dance and bible story, all done in a creative and interactive way! Then children will go back to their individual classrooms where leaders build relationships with children through discussion, activities, play and prayer. Leaders make sure the kids understand the concepts being presented and encourage them to ask questions. Each activity (whether it is coloring, using games, and/or crafts) is centered on the Bible story for the week. Younger children remain in their classrooms where they color, dance, sing, snack and hear a bible story.
Can I trust the teachers? We strive to always maintain enough teachers for the number of kids we have in our classes. All teachers that work with our kids also are given an application and undergo a background check.
The Nursery: Your baby is special to you and to us. Go by our nursery and feel at home with warm decor and loving people that want to take care of your little one. Our nursery is located in the same building as the main auditorium, building B. When you walk into the foyer, go to the right and be greeted by a smiling volunteer ready to help make your experience a pleasant one.
