FAQ's about SpringWell

Do you have questions about SpringWell Church?  A lot of people do...we're not the "typical Baptist" church.  So here we hope to answer questions you might have about us!

  • How should I dress when I visit?

SpringWell is a "come as you are" kind of church so wear whatever appropriate clothing you want!  What do you wear to work or school?  Wear that!  We hope you'll feel welcomed at SpringWell regardless of how you're dressed.

  • Why do you occassionally play & sing secular music?

Our mission is to reach people for God who are far from Him or who have never met him.  Therefore we will use whatever means necessary to relate to people in our culture today.  Cultural Relevance is one of our core values.

  • I noticed people clap at SpringWell.  That's okay?

Absolutely!  We believe God is pleased when we worship freely and sometimes that includes clapping (and also singing & dancing)!

  • How do I get involved at SpringWell?

First, be sure to fill out a Connection Card when you visit SpringWell.  That way we can welcome you properly and connect with you!  Then you might want to get involved on a serving team, a mission team or join a growth group.  SpringWell 101 is another way to discover more about SpringWell and decide where you'd like to connect.

  • How can I receive counseling?

Our Care Pastor and his team members are available to help you!  Counseling you may need including pre-marital, trauma, and marriage counseling is available by appointment.  We also may suggest other community service agencies or therapists if necessary.  Please contact Dan Elmore for more information.  We'd also like to invite you to our Celebrate Recovery worship services on Thursday nights (beginning Oct. 7th).  Sometimes a small group of people dealing with the same issue you are can really help!

  • Why is tithing so important?

Tithing is about trust in God, commitment to him, and obedience to Him...really a matter of the heart.  Therefore, we believe it is normal for each of us to be sacrificial givers.  Tithing falls under "devotion to Christ and His cause" which is one of our core valuesHere is more information about tithing.

  • What do you offer for my kids?

Here at SpringWell, we believe that NO ONE has the potential to influence a child or student more than a parent, and WE want to teach YOU to leverage that influence in leading your child to Christ and ensuring his continued growth as a Christian.  We offer worship services that are age appropriate and we also want to partner with you in raising your children. This strategy is called "ORANGE".

  • What if I have more Questions?

Feel free to CONTACT US with any general questions you have or contact a ministry leader with specific questions.  We'll be happy to chat with you and answer any questions you have!  We'll do our best to respond within 24 hours.
