"These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children.” Deuteronomy 6:7
There are 2 powerful influences on the planet - the church and the family - and they both exist because God created them. God wants to use both of these influences to demonstrate his plan of redemption and restoration to a fallen world. If the church and the family work together, they can make a greater impact than if they work alone! The primary task of each is to build God’s kingdom in the hearts of men and women, sons and daughters. The church needs the family; The family needs the church. When they work together, it’s called "ORANGE".
Most parents can’t give their children a lavish inheritance, but every parent can leave a personal legacy.
At SpringWell Church we teach children in 3 primary age groups. Click on the AGE GROUP to find out what your child can expect at worship services:
PRESCHOOL (birth-5K)
What if children grew up amazed with the wonder of their heavenly Father and how much he loves them? What if they understood God is big enough to handle whatever they will face in life?
Wonder is the priority for the formative years. Our curriculum is built around truths that teach young children about God as a loving Father and Creator.
1. God made me
2. God loves me
3. God wants to be my friend forever
ELEMENTARY (1st – 5th grade)
What if children were provoked to pursue a lifestyle of discovery, where their identity is determined by a personal relationship with Christ and they are guided by his Spirit?
Discovery is the priority during the elementary years. Our curriculum helps children see how God’s truths should be the compass for their decision making.
1. I need to make the wise choice
2. I can trust God no matter what
3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated
STUDENTS (6th – 12th grade)
What if students developed a sense of passion that mobilized them to do what Jesus did on earth? What if they understood they are designed to personally participate in God’s story to show his redemptive plan to every generation?
Passion is the priority for students. It is critical for teenagers to personalize what they learn, so we give them consistent opportunities to do ministry so they can understand how to be the church.
