
FACILITIES USAGE POLICY
General Guidelines and Requirements:
- For the purpose of this policy, any reference to facilities includes reference to any property of the church, including furniture and equipment.
- Users of SpringWell Church facilities agree to use utmost care in the use of church facilities and agree to leave the facilities in good, clean condition.
- All requests for the usage of the church facilities are subject to approval by SpringWell Church.
- SpringWell Church reserves the right to schedule other activities and events in other parts of the church facilities.
Guidelines for Use of Facilities:
1. No events will be approved which exceed the stated capacity of the facilities.
2. Smoking is prohibited in church buildings. Smoking is allowed in the designated smoking area only.
3. NO alcoholic beverages shall be brought upon, served or consumed on church property.
4. No gambling will be permitted on church property.
5. Activities that conflict with the moral and doctrinal position of SpringWell Church will not be permitted. No illegal, illicit, obscene, or demeaning activities are acceptable on church property.
6. Children shall be under adult supervision at all time, within the approved area of use, and are not allowed to run free.
7. The playground is available with adult supervision, at all times, only.
8. Storage of user supplies and equipment is not permitted. It is necessary for the user group to bring such items into the facility immediately prior to use.
9. All equipment, furniture, supplies and etc. brought in by the user must be removed immediately after the event.
10. SpringWell Church is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal items brought to the church campus.
11. Church owned equipment may not be borrowed or taken outside the facilities.
12. Any articles that are moved must be returned to their original place after the event.
13. No staple guns, nails, screws or other objects shall be driven into walls, floors, chairs or any other fixtures within the church.
14. The church does not provide tablecloths or any other linen, except for SpringWell Ministries.
15. Clean-up – The rooms should be restored to the condition in which they were found.
16. The area used must be left in good condition – cleaned up with garbage removed, lights turned off, and doors locked. Garbage is to be removed to the dumpster behind the building.
Additional Requirements and Restrictions:
1. In the event of damage to church facilities, those using any church facility shallaccept the amount of repair and replacement costs as estimated, or otherwise determined, by the church Office or their designee and shall pay the church for such repair and replacement costs upon demand.
2. For children and youth events, the applicable group or organization must provide adequate adult supervision for all usages.
3. The transfer or passing on by any group or organization of permission to usechurch facilities to any other persons or organizations is strictly prohibited.
Fees:
1. A fee of $100 for janitorial/key deposit will be required. This fee will be refunded upon key return and inspection by the Facilities Manager that the facility has been returned to its original condition and that no damage has occurred to the facilities.

**Audio/Visual Support fees are for 2 hours of service. If event requires more than 2 hours of A/V support, additional fees will be required.

4. Remuneration must be paid to the church office at least 30 days before the event. Refunds for canceled events will be at the discretion of church staff.
