Baptism is a special time at SpringWell! Baptisms are done during worship services in a portable "baptismal" (or tub) and we celebrate the NEW LIFE people are demonstrating through the act of Baptism. There are lots of questions surrounding baptism so we hope to answer some here.
Why we believe you should be baptized:
· To follow the example set by Christ - At the time Jesus came from Nazareth and was baptized by John in the river.
· Because Christ commanded it - Jesus said, “Go then, to all people everywhere and make them my disciple, baptize them in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, and then teach them to obey everything that I have commanded you.”” Matthew 28:19-20
· It demonstrates publicly that you really are a believer - We know that we have come to know Him, if we believe His commands.” I John 2:3
